JAZA_KA_ALLAH for taking the time to read this email.
A family member borrowed R60,000.00 from me 10 years ago. The understanding was that he would repay me monthly over a 3 year period.. (verbal not written).
After many attempts on my part to get the loan paid, he paid R20,000.00 this month and I have no idea when the balance will be paid.
Please advise what Zakat should be paid on and when , on the R20,000.00 that I have received considering that no zakat was paid for 10 years on the R20,000.00.
