Wudhu broken with regards to gases

Please give me the rules on how wudhu is broken with regards to the passing of gases(in and out of salaah) and is wudhu broken if one is in salaah and he tries to keep the gases in?

When a person passes wind, wudhu breaks.As long as no gas comes out, one holds it in, wudhu is in order, Salaat is in order, but makrooh
