Women working

Question

Assalamualaikum...mufti sahab.....are women allowed to be employed. Is it valid according to sharia that they should be given freedom in earning income on their own so as to be self dependent. Please let me know the limitations pertained to women according to sharia in islam. Jazakallahu Khair. Allah Hafiz.

Our age is the age of trial and tribulation of immorality and immodesty. The dignity, status, honor and chastity is not respected. Thus women must not go out of their homes to seek employment. They can earn from home. This concept of self dependance is un-Islaamic and leads to corruption of society and community.
