Assalm wu alkum

Respected Mufti saab is it permissible for a woman to perform a Nikaah .if so what evidence can be adapted from the HOLY QURAAN or SUNNAH

She can be witness to the Nikah. according to Imaam Abu Hanifa (A.R) a female can become a judge in civil matters. The Nikah officer is a coordinator
