Hope this finds you in the best of health, Imaan and conditions.
In my quest to find answers for the reasons of my divorce and due to me constantly asking what is Allah trying to teach me or show me as a result of it, I heard a lecture where that if a person marries someone for social status then the first test Allah places on the marriage is one of social, and if wealth then the first test is poverty and that a person should aim to marry someone because of their piety and as a result all good and blessings and Baraka will be granted.
I was married to someone that was very distrusting i.e. she had issues with her parents and would bad mouth them constantly, I would the take her part and support her while at the same time she would act innocent in front of her parents and not address the issue, while giving her parents the impression that it is my fault that they have a problem.
My questions are as follows
What is the wisdom i.e. what are the reasons and lessons that I must learn for having a distrusting person placed in my life, a person that only wanted to cause harm to me and bring no peace in our lives. What does Allah want me to learn?
