What should one do if ones mother is not Muslim?

It was in april of 2007 when i change my life islamically and ever since then my mother was an opstical in my deen.Shes a jaahil and got no concern for deen i am married for about 2 months now and my wife is full with Islam from head to toe,she is a pillar in my deen and with her I konw that my Islamic practice i
will be much easier,as a human i get frustrated at my mother’s godless way of life and confide in my wife.Nabi(SAW) said that any person who gives preference to ones wife over ones mother his ibaadat is not accepted.I try my utmost best to respect her but know for a fact that she will never change her attitude towards Deen.Kindly explain how should I deal with this situation in my circumstances.

Remember at one stage you were also 'Jahil' so have Sabr, make Duaa - do not be rude, crude or vulgar. Listen to the Shariaat from any reliable souce. Respect your matter. Do not allow your wife to be a cause for ill treating your mother. Be cautious.
