What is the significance of keeping the bathroom door closed at all times

Assalaamuallaykum. Jazakallah for all your efforts. Someone recently told me that we should always keep our bathroom door closed, and stressed a lot on it. He didn’t get a chance to explain.
Could Muftisaheb please explain if there is any validity to his warning and if so, what is the reason for this.
Do we need to take extra precaution when going to the bathroom?

This is a place of privacy, secrecy and concealment where generally one is not dressed properly, thus more care and precaution must be taken. Do not enter toilet bare headed and barefooted.
