Validity of nikaah;treatment from alim

Question ID: 28005

Respect Mufti

According to my mum-in-law, my husband’s azaan name
is Riyaadh. However, he was registered as Ahmed which
now became his calling name. Nikaah has been performed
using the name Ahmed.

Kindly comment on whether nikaah is valid.

My husband has been ill for the past 6 months. Recently,
he was referred to a recognized Alim who uses the Quraan,
i.e. surah / zikr as methods of treatment. The Alim used my
husband’s name (Ahmed) to determine the problem. I am
concerned that perhaps the wrong treatment was prescribed.
Please comment.
