Using the quraan to tell the future

is it permissible to use the quraan to tell the future???

to put it in detail- a ‘lady’ claims that she has powers! you go to her with a question or seeking some advice- she then asks you to open the quraan, and point to a line- she reads the english of that specific ayaat- then gives the advice or information you need! is this allowed????

please advise what can be done to resolve the issue.
