Unsure whether talaaq did take place

As salaamu alaikum Respected Mufti: My husband and I have been having several disagreements and one evening our argument got out of hand where I said “Why don’t you just give me thalaq?” in anger>>>His words were : “How does this work ?What do you say talaaq, talaaq, talaaq?” Does this mean that our Nikah is over ? Please advise.
