. My question relates to muslim trust nowdays.
Myself and a muslim brother had a carpool/travel agreement in place. Prior to going on leave for holiday, we set up a schedule where weeks were swopped around to accomodate my leave. This was verbally agreed upon. when i returned from leave, i sms’d him to advise that i have returned and could he picked me up the next day. i got a reply : maaf,i have joined another lift club as my vehicle was giving me problems. not even a phonecall. this puts me in a very difficult position.
I think the term ‘Maaf’ is used very loosely to get out of sticky situations..
Was the the Brother wrong in what he did?
I feel betrayed. its not the question of travelling alone, but about trust in muslims today.
