The kaaba and Masjidul Aqsa

Assalamu alaikum,Respected Mufti Sahab
I have heard that all the ambiyas has contributed to build the Kaaba and finally our beloved Nabi (PBUH). I have also heard that the Kaaba was from the time of Hazrat Aadam Alaihis Salam, so a question is coming into my mind that if the Kaabah was present there then why was our first qiblah Masjid e Aqsa and not the Kaabah.

Because the Ambiyaa (A.S) prior to our Nabi (S.A.W) faced Al-Aqsa as their Qibla
