Question ID: 29761

as salaam,

I hope Allah has kept you in good health since my last email and may He grant you Jannat and the wisdom to advise the Ummah at large. My questions is in connection with taweez.
The questions are as follows and this only applies to few, very reputable “healers” in the community:
Is the use of jinn allowed in Islam to sort out problems with regards to jadoo. Is the giving of taweez allowed, esp. taweez that contain quranic ayat and some contain numbers etc.
The use of taweez to “bind” children to their parents, to bind couples together esp. those that are having problems in marriage etc. the placement of taweez above the doors of houses and business etc.
The wearing of taweez around the neck or pinned to the clothes etc.
the burning of incense and lobaan as prescribed by the “healer”. the burning of papers that contain certain writings on them to clean out a “house”.
the burying of nails, plates and even taweez on the premises to keep out the “jadoo”.
the drinking of water, which has been read upon
. the cutting of lemons and some other stuff..(this I have heard off)

as salaam,
