A man had been taking severe drugs for +10 years such that his entire personality changes. These are Schedule 7 drugs. The drugs also make him very sleepy and thus when he is awakened suddenly, he becomes uncontrollable. Unfortunately, this happened a year ago, when his wife woke him up, and due to this he became enraged and gave his wife 3 talaaqs all at one go. His son who is NOT a minor was a witness, and there were no other witnesses. The husband is able to drive whilst in this aggressive state, however damaging many of the cars while doing so. From various scholars that this was discussed these were the outcomes:
1) Number A Scholar – Talaaq is valid- Husband and wife HAVE to separate immediately.

2) Number B Scholar – The talaaq is taken as one, as according to Quraan, and one hadith saying something to the effect that Rasullah (saw) was visited by a Sahaba who said that he was very angry with his wife and in so doing gave 3 talaaqs at one go. The sahaba was then advised that it counted as one, and if the Sahaba had given it at 3 different periods before the iddat period, then that is counted. However because of the nature of it being all at one go it is counted as 1?
