AsSalaamuAlaykum. I have a few questions, all regarding the use of Surma (kuhl).
I have read in kitaabs such as Shamaa-il Tirmidhi and Sunnahs (by Mufti EMH Salejee) that Nabi (s.a.w) used to apply surma at night. However I notice that many people apply Surma specifically on the days of Jumuah and Eid. Is this permissible or is it an innovation?
