Studying Financial accounting and islamic studies

Question ID: 29962

Asalamu alaykum

I am currently enrolled in second year for a three year undergraduate program in Finacial Accounting.
A desire has entered me for studying Islam and I have a great thirst for knowledge of Islam.
I recently enrolled for Bachelor of Islamic studies on Islamic online university which is done via correpondence.IOU has a syllabus which is a mix of Al Azhar in Egypt and Unversity of Madinah. Alamdulillah Allah has enlightened me so that i am not swayed easily to deviance therefore i have found that while studying through IOU i still maintain my stance on Quran and Sunnah.

Please advise with regard to :
Whether I should continue my Finacial Accounting studies or not
Whether I should continue studying on IOU(The course is 4 years full time)
Which institutions do you advise me to study Islam at
