Slaughtering and Faasiq

Assalaam-u-Alaikum
Dear Mufti Saheb
I hope you are well. My Question is as follows:
Will a muslim slaughterer who publicly claims that for 17 years he cannot recite the tasmiya when slaughtering but still chooses to remains in the employ of the company be regarded as a faasiq in shariat ?
