Sitting for salaah

As-Salaam-U-Alaikum

Please advise positions during salaat while sitting. I am unable to bend my knee and hence cannot sit on floor to perform sajdah
Can I perform salaat as per normal standing position until I need to sit for sajdah – then sit on a chair?
