Silver ring with ceramic

I recently purchased a silver ring that also has ceramic in the centre. I was not aware that there is a weight limitation, I would just like to know, the silver weighs approximately 4.8g and the ceramic 2g. Is it permissable to wear this ring or should I resell it?
