Whilst making Qurbani, specifically cows, i noticed that many farms use a device to shock the animals in order for them to move towards the slaughtering device/place. They then also use a caliper/plier type device which is clamped into the nostrils of the animal. I have been told by one person that it CALMS the cow, and by another that it stuns. is this permissible/makrooh?
