Shaving or trimming the beard

Question

Does shaving/trimming the beard, disqualify one from the musallah. We are told it is wajib, to keep a beard,a person who transgresses this hukam is considered a faasiq, then what if , the haafiz has a shar'ee beard, but probably he wears his trousers below his ankles, then will he not be permitted to lead the congregation?

One cannot compare the beard with the trousers. This is " Qiyas - mal - Faariq" - one may roll the trousers up, one cannot regrow beard in seconds. See detail refs in "Taraweeh on Detail".
