Salaah with clothes and a burkah

I am a teenage girl attending a university. I see many girls coming to read namaaz with a pants/jeans and a top(sometime shortsleeved and above the knee). They then wear a burkah which is below the knee. Is it permissible to read namaaz dressed in such a way?

We do not agree with the concept of girls attending universities.
As for the question, if the burka completely covers the body - below the knee - then it is permissable.
