Mufti Saab, throughout my life when performing Salah with Jammat, when i joined the sallah late (missed a rakaat) in the final sitting for tashahud with the imam i would recite tashahud as well as durrod Ibrahim and dua, i would not make sallam and then stand and complete my sallah. However i was recently told that this may not be correct as only tashahud should be recited by me with the imams final sitting , and if i read durrod and dua , i should have made sajda sooh, which i did not do. I performed Sallah like this for many years.
Please inform me if all those sallah were performed correctly if not how to correct it?. Is umri qadah now compulsory? I have performed many many sallah like that in my life, is possible to pay charity in compensation for mistakes in sallah if i am still relatively young?
