Asalaamu Alaikum

I have 2 questions

1. What is the difference between Sadaqa and Lillah? If give Sadaqa is it permissible to say that “this is sadaqa for my house or for my car etc”?

2. Is it permissible to use medicines / cough mixtures which contain alcohol?

1) In Arabic 'Sadaqah and Lillah' means one and the same thing- "For Allaah" - can be given to Muslim, Non-Muslim, Rich, Poor, Young, Old Male, Female.
However Wajib Sadaqah will be only for the poor and needy like Kaffara, Fidya, Sadaqatul Fitr
