Assalaamu ‘alaikum Dear Mufti Sahab,
I had a question regarding your translation of Hayatus Sahabah, (ra).
In the footnote of many narrations, you mention (as an example), “Haythami [or another scholar] has commented on the chain of narrators.”
Could you kindly clarify what is meant by it? Does it mean that narration has deficiency/weakness etc upon which the Muhaddith has commented, or does it refer to something else?
