Assalamwalikum, Please advise on Qurbani, if my husband is not working and can not afford to buy a whole sheep on his own, but wants to buy a sheep but can only afford half, can husband and wife put money together to buy one sheep?

If Qurbaani on the wife in not Wajib then they both may combine funds and do a Nafl (optional) Qurbaani.
