Purchasing of shares

There is a new Online Share Trading Platform that recently launched, it is exactly the same as all the other ones currently around like Standard Bank,PSG,FNB etc except there is no monthly fee,no minimum brokerage fee and one can purchase fractional shares,the savings on this platform quite good compared to the other ones.
Could you advise me as to whether or not I can register with the said company and what is the view on fractional ownership of shares.
