Playing sports to earn a living

To play sports which are permissable for the sake of keeping fit in order for Jihaad purposes is good. Also provided that sport does not deter one from any fardh form of ibaadat. To earn a living via sports which are currently running the lives of millions, eg. soccer, cricket, golf is highly detested and makrooh tahrimi.
The kuffaar has got us wasting time on sports, whilst they play football with the heads of our mothers, fathers, sisters, daughters and sons.
