Assalamualeikum,

Mufti Saab hope you are doing well.

In our partnership, one is a dormant partner(who has invested the entire capital) and three are working partners who actually run the whole company. The dormant partner has a 50% share, while the three working partners have the remaining 50%. Are these 3 working partners entitled to any fixed monthly salary apart from their profit share? If the company would employ people to run the show they would obviously have to be paid. Also what if the the dormant partner insists that these 3 have to be paid a salary?

Jazakallah

Thery are not allowed to take a salary. Give them a monthly allowance and make the necessary financial adjustments at the time of sharing profits. Do this yearly for it will minimize the possibility of dispute.
