Please read full paragraph and then answer,

I have one very important question to ask sahib, Allahamdulillah I say prayers five times a day. But when at work,or at home or in office attire like in a shirt and pants or trouser so when I say my prayer whether in Jamat or alone I do not fold my pant from below whether from inside or outside and just say my prayers with the pants being below my ankle. So I have to ask you how is this reading of prayer. I know that keeping the trouser or paijama below the ankle is prohibited in shariat and sakth waeed or punishment is there in the Hadith. But I have come to know from a Mufti of Hanafi maslak of Pakistan, that do not fold your pant or trouser from below and read the prayers like that as folding the pant makes it ulta i.e. upside down. He said that while wearing a pant and folding it and saying namaz, the namaz is not valid. He gave me an example that suppose if one had to stand in front of a Judge or High ranked person, would he have stood with pants folded, no he would feel uneasy, So One who is the Greater of all, Allah, how would you stand in front of his with pants folded. Futher he mentioned a condition that if the person saying his prayers with trousers below the ankle , should not have ghamand, takabbur (proudness/pride) in his heart.[Dil mein ghamand nahi honi chaheye].
How would one know that whether he has pride/ghamand in his heart/ bosom or not? What are the signs of pride?

Q2 Moreover he said and gave hawala of hadith. I could not recall it fully but it is something like this: that Hazrat Omar Radhi Allah o Anhu or Abu Bakr Radhi Allah o Anhu was wearing a paijama and it was below the ankle so when he heard the waeed of the cloth below the ankle he was afraid and asked our Nabi that I have the paijama below the ankle so our Nabi said it was not deliberately done or with ghamnd or pride but Hazrat Omer or Abu Bakr had his tummy little bulging out so it was due to this. Allah knows best! Please tell me this hadith correctly and also I want to ask you is it correct or jiaz what I do or should I fold my pant?

Q3. Also I do not like to stitch the trouser or pant above ankle because It does not look nice to me I feel shame and think that what will others see and say and they will laugh and moreover I feel awkward when wearing pant above the ankle especially when wearing with shoes. But when in Panjabi and paijama I keep the paijama above the ankle.

Q4. Again when we wear socks the ankle is covered then what should be done. What is the ruling regarding this. How would one know that whether he has ghamand or pride in him or in his heart or not. What are the signs and how should one be cured or be saved from the disease of pride or ghamand or takkabbur. Please clarify in detail with quoting hadith. I do not khow what to do and I have made my prayers like this for years now. I do not want to fall prey to Shaitan and be in punishment and Allah’s wrath.
I have come across an answer from another Mufti about this issue, the answer is as follows:
Folding pants above ankles for Salah
. Answered By: Mufti Ikram ul Haq – Fatwa Center of America
. Question:
Is it Makrooh for men to fold their pants/shalwaar/pajama on bottom for Salat according to Hanafi school of thought?
Answer:

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

It is not Makrooh to fold the lower part of one’s pants for the purpose of keeping them above the ankles for Prayer. If one feels embarrassed to be with people like that then he should not do so because one should stand before Allah in the best and clean clothing with which one is able to meet with other people of respect.
The best solution for this is to keep the pants above ankles all the time.
And Allah knows best.

Hadhrat Abu Bakr (R.A) had Nabi (S.A.W) to tell him that he had no pride. Do we have someone so great to tell us? No. That was an exception to the rule. The rule clearly being to wear the pants above the ankles. This does not refer to socks. Salaat with the pants folded above the ankles is valid but Makrooh.
