Oepeling in a business and selling expired stock

Is doing oepeling in a business allowed? (oepeling meaning to buy goods without vat) in order to pay less vat to SARS, is it allowed in islam? It has become very common amongst our muslim brothers in recent times. Is it permissable to sell stock that has expired without notifying the customer?

If you deceitfully take what is due to SARS is not permissable.
To sell food which is expired that will be detremental to the health of the consumer, then this is totally prohibited. Also one should know that at time's the product has an expiry date which need not be it's rotting, decaying date.The rule will be, that one cannot sell any food which will harm, injure, adversely affect the health of the consumer.
