Not removing the hair or nails in the 10 days before eid

As- salaamu alaikum…

Why is it that we do not remove any hair, and cut our nails during the 10 days before eid-ul-adha?
What if one dies during this time, and has not removed his/her hair?

Since this is the case, when exactly do we remove hair i.e. exactly after eid?

Private answer

1) This non-removal is Mustahab (preferable) not Fardh, Wajib, or Sunnat. To show some semblance  with those in Ihraam

2) Normal Ghusl will take place.

3) As soon as the Qurbaano is done.
