i married my wife because i thought she was pious and in purda. after marriage (4yrs now) i realised she is not pious. i have to force her to read salaah and getting her up for fajr is a daily battle. i have used kind words and now resort to harsh words and i often just stop short of lifting my hands on her.this is causing me a lot of aggravation and anxiety and the situation is not conducive to marital harmony. i do make dua for her(and my)hidayat. what else can i do?
