Newcomer into islam

Asalamualaikum Mufti Saheb,

A sister recently reverted to Islam and made nikah with a brother who is a friend of mine.

Please advise any obligations in respect of Aqeeqa, Qurbani etc. in respect of the sister accepting Islam.

Any other advise will be appreciated.

May Allah reward you for the education and guidance in Islam, ameen

If she wants to make Aqeeqah she may do so. If Qurbaani is Wajib upon her then it will be compulsory to do so. She is a Muslim. All of Islaam is upon her as a normal born Muslim.
