Naming a child and Aqeeqah

Question ID: 26762

Assalamualaikum Mufti saab, I trust this message finds you in good health InshaAllah.

My questions pertains to naming of a child, there are two names which I feel I would like to use for my son InshaAllah but need guidance as to which one would be more suitable, the first one is Mohomed Hasnain, the second is Mikaeel, I have researched and some ulama state that Mikaeel is prohibited to name as it is the name of an angel and hence angels have no gender therefore naming is not advisable. Please advise in terms of Sharia whether it is allowed or not.

Secondly is Aqeeqah Fard within the seven days of birth, if one cannot afford it immediately, what time frame is allowed to perform it? shukran.

1) Keep Muhammad Hussein.

2) Aqeeqah is Mustahab on the 7th day. If one cannot afford it immediately, do it when one can afford it.
