NABI(SAW) hair

I would clarification on a subject, this is regarding the Baal Mubaarak, which people have mentioned that it is a piece of hair of Prophet SAW which has been passed down from generations and certain people do posses this. Is this authentic? Where Can I find out more about this? Insha Allah, Allah knows best the truth about the topic.
