Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuh Hadrat Mufti Saheb

Protest marches have become extremely popular this Ramadaan over the Israel issue. In such marches, young Muslim men and women, dressed in T-shirts with some anti-Israeli slogans and tight, ankle covering, jeans march through the streets screaming and shouting. The concept of segregation is inconceivable. Muslim males and females are packed together in tight clumps as they march about and hold posters and banners.

Newspapers and online media is abound with pictures of Muslim women baring their faces, short-sleeved shirts and tight jeans in such gatherings. All standing next to men. Their dress is all made ‘Halaal’ with a massive camel-hump hijaab.

And every other evil is permitted with some excuse along the lines of “the greater good.

Hadhrat Mufti Saheb, despite all this, leave the Salafis and Berelwis, but even the so-called “Deobandi” ‘ulema’ are promoting this marching and protesting. I have personally heard this from Molana Ebrahim Bham and Molana Junaid Kharsany (Durban.), i.e. where Muslims are encouraged to go out parading in the streets for Palestine etc.

In addition to the condemnation of this by very fewUlema, please can Hadhrat Mufti Saheb also comment on this matter

These types of marches are totally un-Islaamic and have produced no proper results. We are becoming a laughing stock and destroying most laws of Hijaab, morality, and modesty. Do those Ulema who encourage others to participate take their mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, and daughter-in-laws for these marches?
