Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh
I am a reconvert to Islam alhamdulillah and I have a question concerning payment of Qurbani as for the last three years I was unaware that I had to pay Qurbani. No one told me about it and I didn’t read about it. I remember that I was above the nisab, so Qurbani was wajib on me. (According to what I read on askimam.com)
Do I have to pay a Qadaa for the missed Qurbanis? How can I pay it, meaning whom should I give it? Shall I give to someone to slaugther the animals right now or next year for the next Qurbani?
I am confused, please clear me up respected Mufti.
