Men wearing red

Salaams,I know that men should not wear the colour red as in clothing as its not permissible.Can i wear a khaki pants that has a red and yellow stripe from the top to the bottom and wearing a Long Kurta over the pants,
will it be okay to go to Mecca/Medina with this trac pants.
