Media sciences as a career

Assalamu alaikum! Just needed to know if media sciences as an education major or profession is Halal in Islam? It has animation, ads and production like movies, dramas, and stuff. It's a debate so would need references. Jazakallah khair.

Currently it is has taken a obvious Haraam swing with photography, nudity, intermingling of the sexes, advertising of haraam, etc. However, Media Sciences can be studied and the principles directed and applied in the right, Halaal direction.
