Question ID: 23812

As salaamu alaikum,
My query is i know the hadith says what you love for yourself you must love for your muslim brother or sister, but what about people that as soon as they see you have something probably the lastest stuff, next minute they go out and buy the same thing, it feels like competing i realise its only duniya things, but its like they want to be better than you and act like they know things first i know it should not bother me,
2. should i tell people about things or keep quite
3. i dont want to have a bad feelings because i dont want it to affect my relationship with them and my deen please give me a dua or solution when they do this.

The more you talk the more you will get into trouble. Salvation lies in silence, praising Allaah and not boasting about His boons.
If someone else has the same worldly item even after you then make Duaa that person uses it in accordance to Shariaat.
