Massallah pertaining to making Qurbaani on behalf of a deceased person

As salaamualaikum
I would just like to find out with regards to performing qurbaani on behalf of a deceased person- is it one share per deceased individual or can the qurbani of one share be allocated to more than one deceased individual.
