Massallah pertaining to giving someone your name for Qurbaani

It has been noticed that certain persons do assist Hajees in purchasing their animals
The following procedure is adopted:-

Each person makes his lift on 7 names and hands it to the person concerned with the money;

The balance of 7 parts is made up by the purchaser i someone elses name if the list is incomplete by the purchaser;
The purchased animals are all together shown to the Hajji a few days prior to slaughtering, but no animal is FIXED, that this is ‘your’ animal, however the purchaser does say put your hand on one of the animals. The Question is:
Is the sacrificing of these animals permissible and acceptable in this manner?
