Massallah pertaining to family ties

Question ID: 24728

Repected Mufti, Assalaamu-Alaikum
I am faced with a problem; I live in my father’s home and he lives in another city.
1. Is it firstly correct for him to invite people to stay in my (his) home without my consent
2. I am a very busy person, as I am working and studying but will welcome anyone in my home, except a particular family, I do not like them, they are extremely materialistic, they slander my father all the time, and I have heard that they do evil things. This particular family wants to stay in my home while I am not here. They did not ask me, They spoke to my father and he happily agreed. This womens son lives here but she will rather come and stay here (I am not such a close relative)
They knew that I am going on holiday, but still asked for the house keys. Is this permissable.
3. My father is very whealthy so I feel that they want to use this home and his status to elevate theres and feel that they going to persist in wanting to use my home, how can I deal with this family in the future?
4. The last thing I want is to cause a problem between my father and I, My family means the world to me, but if I voice my feelings or show my discontent with this family, I think their aim is to cause a rift between my father and I.
Please give me advice on how to deal with this family and this situation. If they stay in my home, what can I do to protect it.

1) Clarify your Rights of the usage of the house, then the matter will be resolved.
2) No
3) (as 1)
4) Address with full respect and honor your father. Explain in detail you fears to him. Failing which find alternative accommodation.
