Massalaah on removing of the beard

Assalamualikum Mufti Sahab In sha Allah hope you are doing good.
Q. I am 28 years old and my family is looking for bride, as I am Allhamdulillah following Sunnah of Prophet (S.A.W) peace be up him of keeping one fist beard. My parents/ family relatives they are advising me to cut short the beard so that I will get the goof bride which I totally disagree.
According to them bride people they are telling that I am looking to bigger than my actual age, in fact they are telling that my beard is long so they don’t want to tie up.
Please could you tell me genuine Hadith or any article mention in the Qur’aan related to beard to grow my confidence or to inspire myself to become more stronger.
