Assalamualaikum,
My husband gave me 1 talaaq and asked me to leave his home. He was aware that I was in my menses and when I told him it’s not advisable to do so he said he knows his Islamic law. I am now serving Iddat out of his home but he has not given a cent of maintenance for our 2 sons who are 3 & 7 years old. Neither has he maintained me.
Is he supposed to maintain us?
