My wife was sitting with a group of fam ladies – mostly middle to elderly and a controversial subject on the length of the female hair came up. One of the older ladys said the belief of having long hair was a misnomer and it was better to cut your hair to just below the ear – this will also allow their scarf to sit better . Most were taught that a woman MUST have long hair so that when they die their hair is draped over their breasts. Can Mufti Saab please clarify, is this now a modernists view and what is the Shariah ruling? Jazakallah Marked as spam
