Assalamu `Alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
Respected Mufti Saheb, is it permissible for laymen (Non-Ulama) to narrate Ahadeeth, when these Ahadeeth pertain to Fazaa’il and not Ahkaam?
Because in the Islamic blogs and forums there are “Hadeeth of the Day” threads, in which any person can copy a Hadeeth from wherever he may find it, such as Google, and then quote it saying “Rasoolullah (Sallallahu `Alayhi wa Sallam) said this”.Although the Ahadeeth may appear in the authentic Kutub such as Bukhaari Shareef and Muslim, but will this not be considered Istihzaa of the Deen, and Istihzaa of Hadeeth in particular? The copying and pasting of Ahadeeth by laymen?Is it not the right of `Ulama alone to quote Ahadeeth, whether they relate to Masaa’il of Deen or Fazaa’il?
