Keep snakes

slms mufti, i have heard that it is not permissible tokeep snakes as pets, my daughter has 2 snakes and we are trying to get rid of them, she wants an Islamic reason as to why we cannot keep them as snakes, is it possible that these snakes are the cause of the unpleasantness we are experiencing at home please advise. jzk
