Is Talaaq valid if husband is bipolar and uttered it while in his mania episode

As’salaamualaykum Mufti Elias,
My husband is bipolar and during one of his mania episode he gave me 3 talaaqs. When I told him that we are no longer in Nikaah he is insisting that we are still married. He claims that he didn’t know what he was doing.
please can you give me an urgent response and if talaaq is valid and can you please confirm when did my idaat period become effective?
This talaaq took place on the 30th June 2014 and we have not come to a resolution as yet because my husband insists that we are still in Nikkah.

Kindly take all medical reports proving that he is definitely bipolar to a pious and reliable Mufti in your area. Let him assess and make a decision. You may ask another Mufti also.
